The ATLS1A117 is an electronic module designed for driving diode lasers with up to 1A extra low noise current. The output voltage is 0.5V to 8.5V when powered by a 10V power supply. Figure 1 shows the photo of ATLS1A117.

The controller has temperature compensation network so that the output current maintains the same even as the controller temperature rises.
