Usually TEC modules are used for cooling down or heating up objects, and the life time of TEC modules will be largely reduced when they suffer frequent shifts between heating up and cooling down. Therefore, for thermal cycling applications , including PCR devices, thermal cyclers, chillers and analyzers, etc, TEC modules like ATE1-TC-31-3AS are the best choice.(more)

This series TEC modules have two versions, ATE1-TC-199-13A and ATE1-TC-199-13AS. The former is non-sealed version and the latter is the sealed one. The non-sealed TEC module can achieve higher efficiency and higher maximum temperature difference between the two ceramic plates. The sealed TEC module can be used in moisture applications. TECEV104 evaluation board is applied to evaluate TECA1-5V-5V-D TEC controller, which can drive TEC modules with up to 2A current efficiently. Since no compensation network is integrated in the TECA1-5V-5V-D TEC controller, this evaluation board is used for tuning the TEC controller's external compensation network in order to match the characteristics of users’ thermal load.(more)
