Thermo-electric coolers (TECs) are widely used in heating and cooling applications for medical care, laboratories, and daily use. TEC modules are also known as Peltier coolers. This TEC controller uses the Peltier cooler to accurately regulate temperature with high stability, high energy efficiency, and zero electro-magnetic interference (EMI). The controller’s specially-designed interface components allow a variety of parameter functions, such as set-point temperature range, maximum TEC voltage, and access to the compensation network. The compensation network is used to stabilize the temperature control loop by compensating with a high order thermal load. This controller contains two packages, DIP and SMT.
